Letter Inquiry

Dear Busby Family
It is James here

I have been very busy these last few days nothing is going to plan . The treaty looks like its not even going to happen. I have been planning and editing this but its not going very far because every one is disagreeing. I am trying my best to get everyone to agree and be on my side to sign the treaty. I believe it is best for us.  Everyone is preparing for this big day and I get all the pressure if it does not happen  when it is meant to we may never get all these people back here to sign it its our last chance.

Just before everyone thinks there is no chance the treaty will get finished finally it is done on Wednesday the 6th of February. I was very proud of myself to be honest.

Your sincerely
James Busby xxx

Bug Man Assembly

Today we had a unusual but exciting assembly. Rudd Kleinpaste also known as The Bug Man. He showed us about lots ways that insects run this world. He told us that bees make a ⅓ of our food. There are only 1 million bugs named but people think there are between 13 to 14 million still yet to be named.

He taught me lots of things of new interesting things and I found this one in really fascinating , If we did not have poo disposal insects like the dung beetle in 3 years we would be covered in poo . Here are a few more facts he told us...

Sloths poo once a week and when they do they hug the tree
Sloths eat one leaf a day
The bug man thinks we should be eating bugs
Bees pollinate to make the plants grow
Some frogs eat poisonous ants and then there poison goes onto the frogs backs to make the frog poisonous
If you get a ultraviolet light and shine it in the night the scorpions light up
If sloths eat 2 leaves a day they will die
fantails diet is only insects

It was an enjoyable assembly I have learnt lots more. Thank You Bug Man!
