On Thursday we had careers day. A group of people from different careers came to share more about what they did for there job and try and give more information to the people who are looking in pursuing that career. I mostly enjoyed the youth work set up. One of the two pictures above are of me scooping fizzy drinks in a digger, the other was me at the fire tent water the grass.

Buzzer Circuit
Today in electronics we made our circuit. In the circuit there was a 68k resistor, 1k resistor, buzzer, battery, Transistor and LDR. When it is finished it will be a alarm to alert me when my sister goes into my draw.

Short Poem On Trees
Trees
I love to grow up high where the sun shines, the birds fly free and the wind blows
My buds bloom and blossom and my leaves turn green and bright
I help your fire grow, your houses stand and your hands draw.

Deja Vu
This is my inquiry presentation. We are exploring the unexplained. I decided to research Deja Vu because no one knows exactly how it occurs.

A Water Indicator
Today at Electronics we learnt that when the plants are thirsty they cannot speak to us be we can use electronics to communicate with them. I learnt that which substances have more moisture in them. If there was moisture in the LED it would light up. This is a breadboard model of the sensor. The circuit diagram I drew on Circuit Lab app.
A Water Indicator
How does it work?
In this circuit the transistor is acting as a switch.
In dry soil, the resistance between the probes very high & the transistor receives little or no base current and it cannot turn on.
In moist soil, the resistance is much lower, and the transistor receives enough base current to enable it to turn on, lighting the LED.
